Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month

Hi everyone,

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.  Here are one of the many stories out there that talks about why we need to do more.

Please read Katrina's words

“The hardest thing I have ever had to do as a mother was be strong while my heart was breaking.”
September is Childhood cancer awareness month and this is me, about a year ago, distracting Landon so they could put the needle into his port. One hand is holding a phone, and the other is holding his. This picture is really hard for me to look at, it brings back so many feelings and I relive the initial shock of it all when I look at this picture. It reminds me of the worst time of my life and when I would be strong and then cry in my car in carline while he was sleeping and I was going to pick up Aubree. Like uncontrollable crying..... There is nothing in this world that prepares you for the words “Your child has Cancer”. Kids deserve more the 4% of funds for Childhood cancer.

Please join a GoldTogether Relay team because 100% of that money goes to Childhood cancer research.
